Experience

Dana Murphy’s practice focuses on business transactions, finance and real estate transactions.  Ms. Murphy’s work includes entity formation and structuring, drafting of promissory notes and security agreements and contract preparation and review.   Ms. Murphy is also experienced in M&A transactions, including running closings, preparation of purchase and sale agreements and analysis of the legal and practical implications on client needs of clauses in such agreements.  Prior to joining Crain, Caton & James, Ms. Murphy was an associate in the global projects section a large international law firm where she advised clients in various sectors of the energy industry, including oil and gas, minerals and liquefied natural gas, at all stages of the energy chain.
