The Firm's international practice involves the structuring, documentation and implementation of a wide variety of cross-border or multinational commercial transactions including the representation of nonresident investors acquiring interests in U.S. entities and U.S. investors directing their funds into foreign operations.
The Firm's attorneys are experienced in negotiating and documenting in-bound and out-bound investment transactions, providing advice with regard to the U.S. tax implications associated with such investments and, when necessary, providing dispute resolution support relating to the enforcement of the transactions. The Firm is accustomed to working with local counsel in non-U.S. jurisdictions and has cooperated with law firms in such diverse jurisdictions as the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Morocco, Mexico, Venezuela, Japan, Trinidad, Belize and Israel.

- Provided advice with regard to the creation of joint venture for architectural services in Hong Kong.
- Guided a German company in the financing and construction of U.S. facilities.
- Served as lead counsel for a U.S. engineering company selling its Saudi Arabian operations.
- Advised U.S. citizens and corporations on doing business in Mexico and various Caribbean countries.
- Established a strategic alliance between a Latin American manufacturing company and a U.S. technology company.
- Represented a group of non-U.S. shareholders in the sale of a Mexican manufacturing company to a U.S. strategic investor.
- Represented a major Mexican manufacturing company in a joint venture with a major U.S. manufacturing company.
- Representation of a European company in the sale of a U.S. operating subsidiary.
- Negotiation and preparation of contracts, including licensing agreements, distribution agreements, letters of intent and financing and credit agreements.
