Yigal Saghian advises clients on matters relating to business organization and operation, focusing on real estate and franchising.
Yigal works closely with clients to understand their business activities and objectives, allowing him to provide focused, client-centered, and cost-effective advice and counsel on legal issues confronting them.
Working alongside his father, the owner and operator of a chain of barbecue restaurants in Houston, Texas, Yigal showed interest in the fundamental rules that govern business decisions, interactions, and relationships. He followed this interest by studying Finance and Economics at Yeshiva University, then obtaining both a J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Houston. While at the University of Houston, Yigal was distinguished with a number of honors and awards, including the Houston Bar Association Real Estate Law Section Award and the Bauer Business School Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence.
Yigal joined Crain Caton & James as a law clerk in 2011 while still in law school. After passing both the California and Texas bar exams in 2014, Yigal accepted a position at the firm as an associate attorney. Yigal’s practice benefits from the diversity of his background and his proficiency in several languages including Farsi and Hebrew.
