Alexander (“Alex”) W. Cohn is a zealous advocate who is an associate attorney with the firm’s commercial litigation and banking and financial services practice groups. He cares deeply about his clients and his unique background has molded him into a strong ally in court.
Alex served as an Assistant District Attorney for more than 5 years with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office before joining Crain Caton & James. Here, he gained invaluable experience where he honed his courtroom skills daily, tried dozens of cases to juries and judges, and demanded justice for some the most traumatized victims in the world. While in law school, Alex was named to the Dean’s Honor List four times and graduated cum laude. Alex is proud to be a third-generation Houston lawyer following in the footsteps of his grandfather and late father, H. Miles Cohn.
In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing tennis, skiing, and watching Houston’s local sports teams.
