At least 10 years of experience
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Proficiency in developing federal and state tax planning, strategy and solutions for partnerships, LLCs, and corporations
- Ability to provide tax-efficient solutions when structuring business transactions such as merger and acquisitions, sale and dispositions, reorganizations, recapitalizations, joint ventures, strategic alliances and real estate leases
Candidates will:
- Advise clients of all sizes on tax strategies for ongoing business operations
- Pro-actively inform established clients of actual or proposed changes in tax laws
- Represent clients when tax-related disputes arise
- Develop executive compensation agreements for early-stage companies, existing businesses, and newly-acquired entities
Candidate must be organized, well-versed in partnership, LLC and corporate laws, able to see the big picture and develop appropriate tax strategies and plans, and an excellent communicator and writer. LLM in Tax and law firm experience preferred.
